Our customers place quality high on their agenda. The quality of our process is closely monitored by our Quality Engineer, the production staff and team leaders. Our process is set up in such a way that the right product quality can be guaranteed. In order to continue to guarantee this quality of the processes and products, we are immediately looking for the quality controller who always strives for the right production process to deliver the requested product quality.

As a quality controller you are the right hand of the Quality Engineer. Your job requires some degree of self-reliance. As a quality controller you work from a small and close-knit team. You switch intensively between colleagues and customers on a daily basis. Clear communication is essential. After all, you know better than anyone that good communication is one of the success factors to guarantee the quality level within Confed. In more detail, you are responsible for the following tasks:

  • Carrying out random checks or 100% (visual) inspection. Sampling is based on AQL;
  • Report findings to and discuss with the Quality Engineer, implement improvement proposals in consultation;
  • Anticipating product and process deviations, such as stopping the production process and rejecting it if necessary to guarantee the quality of the end product;
  • Perform inspection on incoming goods in the warehouse and report the findings to the Quality Engineer;
  • Assist in resolving customer and supplier complaints;
  • Contributing to keeping work instructions up-to-date and testing documentation as intended for production;
  • Occasional attendance at engineering and quality meetings;
  • Participate in implementation of improvement projects;
  • Investigate internal deviations in production and actively participate in root cause analyzes to improve the production process.
Responsible For
  • Minimum MBO 4 working and thinking level. mechanical engineering or engineering education; 
  • An analytical thinker with technical insight (accent on mechanics); 
  • Relevant work experience in a production environment with knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001, IPC standard and 5S (LEAN); 
  • Knowledge and experience with Office 365;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
